Breakfast Ideas for Kids

When I was a teacher, Beau got a granola bar, at best, for breakfast. I tried to give him Kashi, at least, but hated the feeling I had every morning after dropping him off at day care with a cold, hard granola bar for breakfast.

When I quit my job, I tried to make him breakfast, or he would eat off of mine. But Beau is a grazer so many of times I would find myself making a nice, big breakfast only for it to be left there for the dogs to eat.

Fast forward to now... I take Beau to work with me every morning to my job of being an Assistant Director at a drop in childcare facility. We get there at 7 am, which means we try to be out the door by 6:30 am. Since I'm there with him and I see what he eats, I started to step up my breakfast game. I went from bench rider to fricken all star. Everyone ooo's and aaa's at his meals, and that makes me feel proud. Since I've been the mom strolling on Pinterest trying to find more creative things to feed my child, I decided to start a Facebook album with each breakfast meal he gets. Keep in mind, there's prep work involved, but it's not as hard as you think to give your child a good meal. Hope this growing Facebook album helps you.
